Schedule a Workshop

If you are interested in scheduling a workshop or class for your organization, please contact us for details.

Examples of previous workshops include:

  • How to Stop Yelling and Start Connecting – Positive Discipline 101 for Preschoolers: Are you looking for a different kind of parenting class, one that gives you tools that really work? This workshop gives an overview of Positive Discipline techniques for preschool age children taught by Kaleigh Boysen, family therapist and parent coach. You will learn to set boundaries with empathy, to be kind AND firm. You will leave this workshop with a greater understanding of how your preschooler’s brain works and how to respond to your child’s tantrums or meltdowns with respect and empathy. Kaleigh combines her knowledge of research on child development, personal experience from her years as a teacher, child therapist, and parent, and practical and effective tools and interventions to use with preschool age children. This isn’t just a parenting class – you will also get to interact and brainstorm with other parents and practice the skills you are learning!
  • Talking to Toddlers: Struggling with toddler tantrums? This short workshop gives a brief overview of age appropriate expectations and common misconceptions about toddler development. You will also learn a few positive discipline strategies and how to talk to your toddler in a way that they will understand. You will leave this workshop feeling more confident in your parenting skills and better able to stay calm and collected through your child’s meltdowns.
  • Our therapists are highly trained in counseling for young children, new mothers, and couples.
  • Our treatment rooms are designed for children to feel comfortable and have fun, with plenty of toys and art supplies.
