Jezaiah understands that each individual has a special story and will accept you as you are with nonjudgmental empathy. She works collaboratively with clients in her role as a counselor to support and encourage you towards learning the different parts of who you are so you may feel empowered throughout your life.

Jezaiah has a Master’s of Science Degree in Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling from Portland State University. She received her Bachelor’s Degree at the University of Guam, where she was inspired to work with families. Jezaiah has worked briefly in family visitation/exchange centers and has also been trained to work with young children with special needs.

Jezaiah believes that her clients are the experts of their own lives and she is here to help them re-discover their core self. She emphasizes on interpersonal relationships in therapy as she perceives having strong, supportive connections is key to an individual’s well-being; she also believes that who we are today is also molded by the relationships we experience in our lifetime. Jezaiah’s counseling style is person-centered and her theoretical approach consists of Internal Family Systems, Attachment Theory, Emotionally-Focused Therapy, and Systemic Therapy using a Strengths-Based lens.
