Haley strives to create safe and nurturing spaces where children, individuals, partners, and families can reflect on their emotions, experiences, and relationships. She believes each individual possesses the innate ability to deepen their self-awareness, lovingly embrace their humanity, and lead a vibrant and authentic life. Utilizing an eclectic approach of person/child-centered, emotionally-focused, attachment-based, mindful, and somatic approaches, Haley hopes to provide a warm, nonjudgmental, and collaborative environment. Her philosophy reflects that healing occurs within the context of relationships and emphasizes a recognition of the systemic forces that impact individuals and families. Her specialties lie in providing trauma-informed and affirming care, particularly to queer folks and individuals exploring their sexuality and gender.

With an understanding that the healing journey is continuous and non-linear, Haley brings patience and intentionality to her work as a counselor. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from San Diego State University and a Master’s of Science degree in Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling from Portland State University. Her professional background includes social work, community health, humanitarian work, and extensive childcare experience. In addition to her work as a therapist, she practices and teaches yoga and meditation, and in her free time, you can catch her near a body of water with a book in hand, tending to her garden and houseplants, or thrift-shopping.
