Kristen (she/her) prioritizes connection and trust in all her work. She believes that clients are the experts on themselves and that the best therapy is client-led and collaborative. She is particularly passionate about fostering connection between parents and their children. She strives to support parents as they find ways to take care of themselves so they may better support their children.

Kristen brings an emphasis on Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Body Trust™ to her work. She received her Bachelor’s degree from New York University and is currently pursuing her Masters Degree in Marriage, Couple, and Family Therapy from Lewis & Clark Graduate School. Kristen also specializes in working with clients struggling with their body image and leaving diet culture. She practices from a Health at Every Size (HAES) approach and is part of a growing community of care providers that believe in shifting the focus away from weight and to more intrinsic markers of health. She holds certification as a Body Trust™ Provider as well as in Intuitive Eating. Kristen is especially interested in helping parents navigate their new bodies in postpartum individually, and in couples.

Prior to this work, Kristen was a preschool teacher and enjoys play based therapy. When she’s not in session, she can be found with her spouse, two young children, and 12 ½ yr old terrier pup in the garden or on a hike. She loves nature, reading novels, historical fiction, and reading tarot cards.
