Haley hopes to empower others in embracing the fullness and messiness that is the human experience. She believes every individual is already equipped with all the necessary tools to heal and evolve, in order to lead a joyful, vibrant, fulfilling life. In upholding sensitivity to the influence of interpersonal relationships, family of origin, culture, and societal systems on an individual, Haley recognizes that you are the expert on your own experience and needs. With an emphasis on attachment, somatics, and mindfulness, Haley strives to be a supportive and compassionate witness along your personal journey of healing. She believes healing happens within the context of relationships, through building and sustaining positive connections. She seeks to hold space for vulnerability, the full spectrum of emotions, and all parts of oneself that make someone uniquely human. Seeking counseling is a courageous step in “doing the work”– work Haley recognizes as challenging yet beautifully rewarding. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from San Diego State University and is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Marriage, Couple and Family Counseling at Portland State University. Her background includes social work, community health, and extensive childcare and nannying experience. In her free time, she enjoys practicing and teaching yoga, making a cup of herbal tea, thrift shopping, and tending to her houseplants.
