I believe that everyone has the capacity to heal when given the right tools and support. My approach to counseling is holistic, inclusive, and person-centered. I see therapy as a collaborative experience that fosters connection, increases access to resources, and creates a safe environment for growth and healing.
Beginning the healing journey is not easy, and I deeply commend those who choose to take that step. The path can be rocky, and as a clinician, I strive to be a steady and supportive presence for my clients. As a BIPOC woman, I am especially passionate about providing culturally responsive care to youth and families who have often been underserved or underrecognized.
In the therapy space, I aim to cultivate a supportive and non-judgmental environment where clients can be authentic, explore their identities, and feel empowered in their healing journey. I believe every individual brings unique experiences and perspectives to therapy, and I am honored to help nurture and support that growth.
I am currently completing my Master’s degree in Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling at Portland State University. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Grand Canyon University. My professional background includes working in trauma-informed, short-term residential treatment programs with youth in the foster care system, as well as roles in mental health practices and nonprofit organizations.
Outside of work, school, and internship, I enjoy spending time with loved ones, taking walks, and exploring the city.
