As a student of Portland State University, College of Counselor Education, in the Marriage, Couples, and Family Therapy (MCFC) focus track, I am trained to work with a diversity of children, youth, and adults through various constructs of relationship including marriage, open and closed partnerships, and a wide range of family compositions. My education and experience focus on child development, identity development, attachment theory, emotion-focused therapy, and somatic and narrative techniques. I have also received additional training in working with queer, trans, BIPOC, and immigrant populations. Throughout my long life, I’ve been working with children, leading movement practices, managing non-profits, and working with adults in many different kinds of groups, and this has prepared me to work with a diverse population. I approach my therapy practice with an inclusive, thoughtful response that has a real impact on individuals and families.

  • Our therapists are highly trained in counseling for young children, new mothers, and couples.
  • Our treatment rooms are designed for children to feel comfortable and have fun, with plenty of toys and art supplies.
  • New parents are welcome to bring babies to sessions.
  • We believe that there is no one right way to parent or to be a family, and we respect and honor your family’s values and beliefs.
