Kerry (he/him/his) believes that from time to time we get “stuck”, and that given right circumstances, unconditional positive regard, and support everyone has it in them to “unstick” themselves creating a personally fulfilling life. Kerry believes that each client is the expert in their own life, and it is his job to listen, validate, and from time-to-time challenge negative or unproductive narratives. For Kerry, counseling is a collaborative process where you are supported in making decisions about your life.

Kerry is a Licensed Professional Counseling Associate, and received a master’s degree in Marriage, Couples, and Family Counseling from Portland State University. As well as a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Eastern Michigan University. What Kerry enjoys most about therapy is the uniqueness of every client, from child to adult, individuals, relationships, and families. During sessions Kerry will bring elements of Existential Humanist theory, Mindfulness, Collaborative Problem Solving, Expressive Arts, and Child-Centered Play Therapy. Kerry enjoys working with children 6+, teens, adults, relationships, on issues like grief, anxiety, depression, identity and LGBTQIA+ community.

In his free time, Kerry enjoys spending time with his husband, their two dogs, cooking, traveling, and playing games. Throughout his life Kerry has been to 49 of the 50 states, with Alaska being the last one he needs to visit.
